Meet the owners
Katherine Astells-Keras founded Traffic Pro in 2008 after 16 years in the industry as a lane closure technician, traffic control supervisor and over 10 years as a trainer for the BCCSA. Her passion for the industry and her commitment to the safety of all traffic control people is the corner stone of her desire to create positive change for all traffic controllers.
Currently, Katherine oversees sales and management at Traffic Pro Services.
Katherine is also the lead trainer and founder of Traffic Pro Training Systems, offering her knowledge and skill set as a BCCSA Traffic Control Person Trainer and various safety training certifications.

Karesse Desmond joined Traffic Pro in 2010 and brings 10 years of experience in the traffic control industry. Her past work includes extensive highway and freeway work as well as supervising in the field. Currently Karesse performs supervisory work and traffic management consulting at Traffic Pro Services.
Karesse is also a certified trainer for Traffic Pro Training Systems, where she has created and developed traffic related courses, including the Lane Closure Technician Program, Traffic Management Plan Awareness and select others.
Her goal is in teaching traffic control persons to lead in the industry by example, while behaving in a professional manner, demonstrating strong work ethics and above all else, quality.

Ted Astells has been with Traffic Pro since 2008 when the company first opened it's doors. Ted brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry as a foreman, superintendent and machine operator.
Currently, Ted performs machine maintenance and sales for Traffic Pro Services.
